I am getting ready to further my Gun knowledge and take one of the on line courses for Gun smithing. I know they are a far cry from a hands on school but the closest one to me is over 200 miles. I will supplement it with a machine tech course at the local trade school. I have many firearms and have worked on most of them from small things to major repairs but I don't possess the knowledge to do custom work or re chambering or things like that. I am retired and this is what I want to try and do to maybe start a small business. I already have most of the heavy equipment I will need but I need the knowledge to go with it. Anyone have a suggestion to which ones might be the best? God Bless Dale

I don't have any suggestions, but I pray that the lord will guide you to what is best. If you seek you shall find..... Right?

If you're looking to get into rechambering barrels, a good lathe is a must. Also, you have to have a proper guide/alignment setup so you are properly aligned with the bore.
I have personally never done anything like this, but I have a few friends who have experimented with wildcats/rechamberings. I'll talk with them and get back to you.
