Bronc,
Congratulations man! Glad to see you on the board so early! Very interesting antler formation. Kind of a non-typical (or so it appears).
I had a close friend shoot a buck this past sunday that dressed at 188. I haven't seen the rack yet, but I'll get a pic up here as soon as I can.
I've been out twice. Got skunked the first time, saw a half dozen animals the second, and passed up a young buck (only being allowed to take one buck a year here makes me very hesitant to shoot at younger deer - it has bitten me in the past. I had to eat tag soup last year here in Ohio... LOL).
Good job man! Great harvest!

Yes it is a real Non typical. we saw 6 other Bucks Sunday morning it was nice and frosty and quite cool. Son rattled them in and he missed a 28 yard shot on a nice 6 point. When we get the head back I will post some better pic's of the rack

Bronc,
Also, I neglected to congratulate you for getting a dry spell over with. I know you've had a few slow seasons, and this is a perfect way to get one going!
Super deer, and a wonderful way to start things off.
I got out friday morning, and all I saw was a bunch of squirrels. The crop rotation is beans on the home farm, so once they turned, no more deer. I'm hoping that we get to see some later in October. That place is really dependent on crop rotation and no corn may mean a slow season. We'll see.
