Austin and I are once again heading up to Luther, MI next weekend to fish in this great fundraiser for our church camp. Last year Austin was the primary fisherman. He caught just over 300 inches of Trout in the 24 hour period, bringing in over $500 dollars in sponsorship and donations for the camp. He had a great time and as always was worn out at the end of it, but he still talks about the big ones that got away that weekend.
Again this year Austin will be the primary fisherman, so I am actually posting this for him because he is in need of sponsorship for this adventure. Please read below for more....
On Friday May 30th, I am going to embark upon a great fishing adventure. Camp Living Waters has given me the opportunity to enjoy one of my favorite hobbies and impact the lives of young people at the same time. I have agreed to fish from 5:00 pm on May 30th until 5:00pm on May 31st because I believe in the effect that this ministry is having on our youth. You too can be part of the effort by sponsoring me in this 24-hour Fishing Adventure.
Camp Living Waters exists to challenge children and teenagers with the life changing love of God in a rustic outdoor setting. Your financial support of my 24-hour fishing adventure will enhance the camp’s influence through various needed program improvements. Your participation will allow the camp to get deep into the heart of the next generation for Christ.
I would like to challenge you to sponsor me at $1, 50 cents, a quarter, dime, nickel or even a penny per inch. I have a personal goal of catching 500 inches of fish on the event day. Your tax deductible donation will go far to help this ministry impact young people for the Lord.

i belive this is our 7th year of doing this. with the money raised each year we have bought things like the "iceberg" a floating mountain that the kids use during the summer in the camp lake. we helped upgrade the old archery and air gun equipment the camp had. we purchased mountain bikes for the camp to use on the hundreds of thousands acres of national forest surronding the camp
