Who all hunts yotes in the eastern US? How long have you been at it? Are you successful?

HC,
I've been ATTEMPTING to hunt them for a while - no luck yet. I've had some very good help from a friend who is very successful for the area he lives/hunts. He's killed a truckload of them. I got to go out once while I was back home over Christmas break, but no luck. I am getting into it more out here - with what limited time I have.
Outside of that, some of my hunting buddies have taken coyotes while deer hunting, and I'd be remiss if I didn't add that I've missed a few that way (long running shots with slug guns aren't terribly high percentage shots...)

Been really strange here this year? I always have a bunch around, but they seem to be on the down turn here. Red Foxes seem to be coming back.

I have been calling in coyotes for about six or seven years now. I am pretty successful with the rabbit in distress mouth call. Seems to take only a few seconds to get a response in my area. If there are any around, get ready because they come running in!
