Just wondering who makes a 1911 in 10mm. Perferably with target/competition style sights and 5 in. barrel. Dan Wesson produced them for a while, but have posted on their website that they were discontinued in 2010, does this mean you can still get them this year? Or are they all gone?

I think Kimber makes the Stainless Target II model in 10mm as well as the Stainless Eclipse model...money wise the DW would be better.

HC,
Not sure on the availability of the DW 10mms. Along with Kimber, I'm relatively certain that Colt makes a 1911 10mm. Let me make some inquiries, and I'll let you know what I find out.

check out www.fusionfirearms.com. they were started by the former president of Dan Wesson Firearms They've got a longslide 1911 10mm that should fit the bill. Nighthawk Custom makes a 10mm longslide custom 1911, but it is a bit pricey (read as a LOT). gd
