This Have Dominion Outdoors is a custom Christian Turkey Double Glass call over a nice Cherry pot. It comes with a select cherry striker! This call sounds great and let's anyone who sees it know how you feel about the Lord! Check out the verse under the glass it's Genesis 1:28 with a nice picture of a Tom in mid gobble! This is a custom turkey call is made for Have Dominion Outdoors alone. The call is cherry wood that produces SUPER SWEET SOUNDS & IS a great looking wood. The wood is cherry and is furniture quality. This is a great call for the field, a gift, or to start a young hunter in the right direction! Here's is how you enter to WIN:You must be a member to win. There are four sub species of wild Turkey in the United States. Post a comment stating which subspecies of turkey you would like to hunt most. If you have hunted all of them, post which one you enjoyed hunting the most. The contest ends April 30 2011 at that time I will dump all the posts into a bucket and will randomly select a winner!

I like hunting the Rio Grande. They seem to gobble alot and all I use mostly is a box call. I would like to hunt the Eastern sometime.I think they may be a smarter bird. ;D

Well" I have hunted all 4 plus the oscillated. I simply love to hunt turkey. The Merriam's of the sand hills of Nebraska offer fast action, When there I like the fact that one can find lots of birds. not all shooters, But talking turkey is what it is all about. Few really boring minutes when hunting them. The Reo's of south Texas seem also to be fairly easy to locate and call. In fact I think they are by far the best bird for beginners to cut their teeth on. They respond well to calls, and come in to them in numbers. even the hens can easily be called in often bringing the old Toms with them. I love the weather in the Crystal City area in mid march, and have been there for the season opener the last 6 years. I believe the eastern to be the most heavily hunted of all the north American turkey. and hunting pressure has made them a crafty adversary add to that the fact that increasing coyote numbers throughout their range has seemed to play a role in their decreasing vocalization. makes them ever increasingly difficult to hunt. offering a greater challenge to the avid turkey hunter their numbers and breading competition allows a good degree of success. keeping the interest alive for many beginners. But, In my humble opinion the Osceola is the best. Many say the heavily hunted eastern are the roughest. But I would suspect such statements come from those who have not had a great opportunity to venture into the realm of the Osceola. Although fairly vocal wile on the roost they seem to be tight lipped once on the ground. Only the sexual frustrated loners seem to answer the call and when they do they seem reluctant to come to the most persuasive of hen calls. The terrain of Ocala is ideal for them and I have found that setting up in locations where it is near imposable for them to come in through the back door works best. The fact that the season opens early in the year is also a plus for the Osceola. However, it really makes no difference. as long as I am in the woods on those clear early spring mornings. Listening to the gobbles at day break. it is all good.
