Lets all post up some scouting tips and tricks.
Using trails, I walk with a map of the area, and map out buck rubs. Doing this I have found a regular traveling route of a nice buck, which I did kill. This may not work for everyone the way it did for me and some people frown on walking the trails.
What is your favorite tip or trick to get close to bucks?

I have been useing for years a buck lure, called Pete Rickards orginal Indian buck lure. I place a few drops on the cuff of my hunting pants. I know some say that it is dangerious, But I never had any problem with it in the 35 years or so that I have been useing it. Also a new one on the market is Deer heard in a stick by bourder crossing sents. I have been in plain site, with full camo on in the middle of a heard of Elk meany times and they never smelled me one time. It works to cover your sent, and makes Elk and Deer relaxed. They think that you are one of them. I also use in on a small clean rag, that I have sprayed with sent killer and warshed in sent free soap; and place it at the bottom of my stand. It helps cover any sent that I might have transvered to the tree when hanging my stand.

I've talked about this before, but I'll do it again. Put a dummy in camo in your stand awhile before the season. The deer will become fimilar with it and not be spooked by you. Pepermint is an old trick just hang a stick in a tree they love it.
