1. Bertha Belch, a missionary from Africa, will be speaking tonight at Calvary Methodist. Come and hear Bertha Belch all the way from Africa.
2. A bean supper will be held Tuesday evening in the church hall. Music will follow.
3. Ladies, don't forget the rummage sale. It's a chance to get rid of all those things not worth keeping around the house. Don't forget to bring your husbands.
4. The Rector will preach his farewell message after which the choir will sing; "Break Forth Into Joy."
5. Don't let worry kill you - let the church help.
6. Remember in prayer the many who are sick of our church and community.
7. For those of you who have children and don't know it, we have a nursery downstairs.
8. The rosebud on the alter this morning is to announce the birth of David Alan Belzer, the sin of Rev. and Mrs. Belzer.
9. At the evening service tonight, the sermon topic will be "What is H!!!?" Come early and listen to the choir practice.
10. Scouts are saving aluminum cans, bottles, any any other items to be recycled. Proceeds will be used to cripple children.
It goes to show you that were all pretty frail human beings. God didn't bring us into the world as perfect individuals. He gave us a road to follow and that road has a map called the Bible. He has given us many obstacles to overcome in our journey towards spiritual growth, and all he asks in return is our devotion. He has given us the ability to laugh and cry and has given us a sense of humor and above all, being able to laugh at ourselves.
