For years I used Coulson (Yellow Label) Tick & Mosquitoe spray on my hunting clothes to protect against ticks. Can't find it any more, but it's been replaced by Sawyers Insect Repellant. Same as Coulson, just different name. Stays in your clothing for two weeks and kills a tick if they should crawl on your clothing. With Coulson's, I've seen a tick crawl on my pant leg and it died real quick. So far thank God, since using this Sawyer stuff, to the best of my knowledge, I have not had a tick on me. You do not put this stuff on your skin and tells you NOT to apply on skin. Has Permethrin in it.
Here my question? Looking at the label, it has 0.5% Permethrin in it and 99.5% inter ingredients. Well what the hell is inert ingredients?? Compress air?? I don't know or did I ever look if Coulson's had the same amount of Permethrin in it?
Does anybody know of a product with more Permethrin in it? Or is this enough??

I don't know of anything with more in it, I do know that you can purchase a more concentrated permethrin at a tractor supply or I think I picked it up at a homedepot. That way you could up the percentage a little. Something else to check would be some of the horse spray's, I know that some of them have the same ingredients, you would just have to choose which one's have more of what you want.

Duranon Permethrin Concentrate Permethrin 13.3 % concentrate for yard and garment protection. Often referred for use in washing of cloths.
Permethrin 13.3 % concentrate is used for yard and garment protection. When mixed in water, per instructions, the concentrate yields 3 gallons and treats 2400 square feet. These references indicate that by mixing with 1 gallon of water to increase the concentration and applying this solution with a yard sprayer to totally saturate the fabric that you will have 12 months protection. The 1 gallon will treat 4 outfits (long pants and shirt).
