Anyone ever tried Small game with a bow.
I have taken out a light poundage recurve while rabbit hunting, Where I didn't connect that day it was really fun and I did a lot of shooting, Practice makes perfect they say and I did begin getting closer at the end.
Have you ever just went out for the fun of it, not worried about success, try it, it is a blast.

I don't know if it counts or not... BUT, I have been known on occaision to take out my bow and shoot chipmunks. Hard to hit, but good practice...

I started shooting a recurve bow when I was12. My buddy and I would hunt frogs at night in the summer time. Think chipmunks are hard to hit try frogs. Most of the time a frog will set if you miss. So you can shoot again. In the day time we would hunt jackrabbits, and phesents. Never killed one in the air flying but killed tons of them on the ground. MJEdens
