Bible Study Verses
Matthew 8:23-27
Then he got into the boat and his disciples followed him. Suddenly a furious storm came up on the lake, so that the waves swept over the boat. But Jesus was sleeping. The disciples went and woke him, saying, "Lord, save us! We're going to drown!" He replied, "You of little faith, why are you so afraid?" Then he got up and rebuked the winds and the waves, and it was completely calm. The men were amazed and asked, "What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the waves obey him!" (NIV)
Thoughts
Being the sarcastic person that I can tend to be, I can see Jesus trying to take a nap, the storm blowing up, people freaking out and he wakes up with a stretch of His arms looks out to the storm and says, "Enough!" Then He goes back to sleep, like no big deal it was just a hurricane . . . LOL.
Can you imagine what the rest of the boat were thinking? Brings a smile to my face just imaging it.

Action Point
I have been on both sides of the storm. I have been the voice of reason and I have been the overly nervous one. I can promise you this. Freaking out has never been the best answer at anytime, anywhere or in any situation.
Have faith my friends. God will prevail if you just put your faith in Him. I can promise you this, He will never let you down. His strength is more than our strength and He can overcome all we fall short of.
Sportsmen's Tip of the Day
For you waterfowl hunters who have a freezer full of ducks and geese. Talk to your local butcher and see if they will make sticks or brats out of your harvest. I have had goose cajun brats and pineapple and jalapeno goose and duck sticks. Oh my goodness, are they fantastic!!!
