Bible Study Verse
2 Corinthians 5:17
Therefore, if
anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation; old things have
passed away;
behold, all things have become new.
(NKJV)

Thoughts
It is just about Christmas. I love to see the
new
hunting catalogues come in the mail. My
wife would
say that I collect them, all of them, and
thumb
through
them like a child going through a
Christmas catalogue of toys. I want to see
what is
brand new.
Every magazine will have ads touting great
claims of new products. Each ad will
promise truer shooting,
smaller groups, and bigger bucks. I
confess, I'm
hooked. I know that a new rest on my bow
is not going
to make the big difference for me to take a
Pope & Young
Club Bull Elk. People were harvesting
animals a long
time ago with just a stick and a string; but
everyone
likes the idea of things being new. New
items are just
that--new and refreshing.
(DW)
Action Point
I want my life to be new and improved.
Sometimes I
don't like the way I am. My past is full of
guilt, and I wish that
I could start over. Jesus gives us a second
chance.
When I became a devoted follower of
Christ, I received a
promise that all things will become new.
Jesus promises to
make my attitudes, personality, character,
spirit and
desires all new. This relationship with
Christ is vital to
my life because He creates changes in me
that
I could
never make.

Sportsmen's Tip of the
Day
Brand new items can help in some
situations.
Replacing something old and worn out can
mean the
difference in a harvest or an empty freezer.
