Dear Trapping community
A request to all the ladies and men that frequent this forum that believe in the power of prayer. My wife Susan and I are a long way from home in Maine. We are in the city of Pittsburgh on the far side of Pennsylvania. She will be entering the hospital on Monday and having surgery Tuesday at 7:30 AM.
The surgery is for a very rare form of cancer called pseudomyxoma peritonei. The surgery will be about twelve hours in length and is considered to be quite dangerous. Her recovery is expected to take some time and not be particularly easy. I am asking that folks that believe please pray for her, her doctors and nurses. Please pray that she might do well and recover well. I have been sending up prayers for a long time and have many friends across this great land doing likewise. We need all the assistance we can get.
Thank you Scott

Surgery lasted 10.5 hours. Still in intensive care. Was on ventilator until about mid day I think today.. Was on it when I went in this morning but off when I came back from taking care of a couple things. Very tough surgery. Still could use prayers and support.
Thank you for praying for her. Scott

Update We made it home. She is very weak and very tired. It will be a long recovery. Still has traditional chemo treatments ahead. Thanks for your support.
